The CW’s breakout hit, The Vampire Diaries adds a new member to the supernaturally-attractive cast. Starting with the January 21 episode, Mia Kirshner will join the cast as the wife of history teacher/vampire Alaric.
According to EW.com, the January 21 episode has long been in the can, and hints that “11th hour reshoots” were done to add her to the episode. I’m a little wary of last-minute reshoots, as they tend to be… well, not good. But I love Mia Kirshner, so I will keep an open mind.
Kirshner is probably best known for her role in Showtime’s The L Word, but FEARnet readers are probably more familiar with her work in Exotica, The Crow: City of Angels, and The Black Dahlia. She will appear as Lilith in the upcoming 30 Days of Night sequel Dark Days.
