Visit Avatar's Death Metal Carnival in 'Black Waltz'

Swedish gothic/death metal unit Avatar made their first big international splash with their song "Queen of Blades" (from the band's self-titled 2009 album) based on the villain Sarah Kerrigan from the Starcraft video game series. Now they've teamed up with the famous circus sideshow troupe Hellzapoppin for their new video "Black Waltz," which comes from the band's recently-released EP of the same name. We've got the clip on the flip, so check it out!

The limited-edition Black Waltz EP was released around Halloween this year, and also includes the tracks "Torn Apart" and "One Touch," all of which will be featured on their upcoming album (title and release date still to be announced).

The video, directed by Johan Carlén, features Avatar frontman Johannes Eckerström as your deranged carnival barker, accompanied by several members of the Hellzapoppin team – including leader "Zamora the Torture King" (whose act has been featured on TV shows around the world), each of them performing their own twisted routine. Check it out below... it's the most fun you'll ever have with a condom and a power drill!
