The folks at Intuit Quickbooks have set up a contest called “Small Business, Big Game,” in which independent companies compete to win a coveted advertising time slot during next year's Super Bowl... and one of those companies is none other than the legendary New York B-movie outfit Troma Entertainment – whom you know as the team behind The Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke 'em High and hundreds more cult titles. Not only that, as of today they're currently in the Top 25 competitors!
Troma's bio is listed on the site, where they mention the studio's nearly forty-year history and their library of more than 800 films, and point out how Troma productions have featured actors and filmmakers who went on to successful big-studio careers. Troma and the other competing companies submit their profiles and complete activities to reach the final brackets, after which the finalists are selected by Intuit, and online voters from around the world can then choose the winner, whose ad will be featured during Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2nd, 2014.
Drop by the Small Business, Big Game site for details on Troma's and other entries, and decide if you want to cast your vote for the House That Toxie Built!
