Witchery Debut 'Witchkrieg' Video

Swedish metal supergroup Witchery have rallied the witch troops for a demoniacally sweet new video for the title track from their album Witchkrieg... and if that isn't a cool enough prospect for you, well then maybe you should know that Slayer's very own Kerry King, who contributed solo guitar to the album track, makes a guest appearance in the video as well. Still not convinced? What's wrong with you, anyway? Just hit the jump and rock some evil!

The main portions of the video were shot in Stockholm a couple of months back by the team of Daniel Larrson and Anders Björler (also guitarist for At the Gates and The Haunted), but the scenes with King were filmed in London separately last month. King was originally invited to participate on the album by Witchery guitarist Jensen (also of The Haunted), who met the Slayer axe-man on Witchery's first-ever tour over a decade ago. When it came time to record the new material, the two hit it off again. “I played him the song, he listened to it three times straight and said, 'Yeah, I'll do it,'” Jensen recalls.

King later agreed to appear in the video to tear through his blistering solo again on camera, in between scenes featuring lots of stuff bursting into flames and frontman Legion sporting the same massive devil-horns you saw in the promo image above.

But why just talk about it? We've got the video. It's horns-up time!
