Rumors have been swirling around World War Z, the Paramount-backed big screen adaptation of the Max Brooks book. Word has been that Paramount didn't want to foot the whole $125 million bill. Deadline reports that Skydance and "as many as two other financiers" are interested in coming aboard for the project, which would like to start shooting in June. Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) would direct and Brad Pitt would star. The film would be an "oral history" of the zombie wars a decade later, and how the world is rebuilding.
