Located in Los Angeles, YouTube's Space LA lab was designed to teach YouTubers tricks of the trade, and provide them with a space to make videos as well as attend workshops and seminars. These month-long experiences have a different theme every month, and October's theme saw Space LA turning into the Scream Lab - intended to help up-and-coming YouTube channels to produce scary videos for Halloween.
As part of the Scream Lab festivities, a special Zombie Day was held, where artists from the Stan Winston School were brought in to transform the folks from 20 different YouTube channels into flesh-eating walkers. Some of the channels then filmed fun videos in their zombie makeup, quick shorts that showcase their talents as filmmakers.
Check out a couple of the Zombie Day shorts below, and head over to the Space LA channel to see more. If you want to watch one of the Halloween shorts that was shot on the Scream Lab set, navigate over to Olga Kay's channel and spend 7-minutes with My Better Half!
Scream Lab is offered by YouTube’s Next Lab experts to help up-and-coming YouTube channels to produce scary videos for Halloween.
