Last night, horror nerds paid tribute to one of the most prolific and influential genre filmmakers of all time. And then we all went to the San Diego Comic-Con Roast of Troma head honcho Lloyd Kaufman. It was a fitting tribute for a man who's been making some of the most loved (and despised) genre films for the past 35 years. The festivities were hosted by Adam Green (Hatchet, Frozen) and roasters included Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2), Mick Garris (Masters of Horror), Ron Jeremy, Stan Lee and many others. The highlight of the evening though was when Director Darren Lynn Bousman unexpectedly crashed the roast (followed by security) only to climb on stage and 'stab' Bousman's Mother's Day (also a Troma property) producer Richard Saperstein. Hit the jump for pics.
