Open Grave is probably better than other Copely showcases like Elysium and Oldboy, but it's not exactly great, either. The film begins with Copely's character waking up in a huge pit filled with bloody dead bodies. Kind of an open grave, if you will. He has no memories of how he got there, but he does find a gun in his pocket. He soon escapes this pit and finds himself among a group of similarly armed and clueless survivors. Mystery, distrust, and occasionally memory flashes ensue.
