2005′s WOLF CREEK did an excellent job at illustrating how a horror film can be just as effective with focusing more on tension and suspense as it could be with shock and gore. It did a hell of a job staying with viewers, and instantly made a horror icon out of its villain, the Aussie from hell, Mick Taylor.
