Review

Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence is everything that the first film wasn't.  It is graphic, it is dark, and it is at times hard to watch.  It is also a very interesting take on fandom, and a response to those fans who complained that the first film used insinuation where it could have used gore.  The Human Centipede, the original film, was a bit boring and a bit of a letdown, especially after the hype it received based upon its decidedly out-there premise. Part two is still a little bit slow, but it does up the ante on the nastiness and comes out as a much darker, much less amusing experience.  However, fans of torture porn can rejoice, as this film does set a new bar while retaining a bit of the fun of a good old fashioned slasher.
