True Blood

07/25/2011 - 5:12am
Sookie pays Marnie a visit, hoping to get some insight into what the coven did to Eric. She requests a psychic reading, during which Marnie contacts Gran. Gran tells Sookie - through Marnie - that she needs to care for her brother and not to give this "new man" her heart. Surprised, Sookie can't help but read Marnie's thoughts, and she hears Gran warning her to get the hell away from Marnie - that she is dangerous.

Eric, drunk off Claudette's blood, pinches Sookie's butt and runs off into the woods. He has not returned by morning, so Sookie calls Alcide to help track him down. He is swimming in the swamp and doesn't want to come home. The fairy blood wears off, his skin starts to blister, and he finally allows Sookie to cover him up and help him home.

Eric is in a weird comatose/amnesic state when Sookie finds him. He knows what he is, just not who he is. Sookie reluctantly agrees to help him through... whatever this is. Eric is thankful and promises he won't eat her.

Sookie is both annoyed and scared that Eric has bought her house. He claims he did it to protect her, but he wants power over her. Against her better judgement she goes to Bill for help. Bill had previously "covered" for her while she was in fairy world, telling people she was on an errand for him so other vamps wouldn't get wind of her sweet, sweet fairy blood.

I think at this point, we have all seen the first eight minutes of the episode. Sookie is in the fairy world and she discovers that the fairies are "harvesting" those with fairy bloodlines to keep the race alive. Sookie discovers grandpa Earl is there and when she stands up to the fairies, they turn evil.

Bill rushes to Fangtasia to save Sookie, but is waylaid by Pam and silver mace. Instead, Yvetta the stripper - mad that Eric left every penny to Pam - helps Sookie and Bill escape. In the car on the way home, they daydream about what they would do if their lives were “normal.” Real life smacks them in the ass when Russell and Eric appear in the road and stop them in their tracks.

Russell’s mansion is apparently the party palace. He instructs Eric to leave Sookie in the library while he attends to “marital issues” with Talbot upstairs. Sookie does not want to believe that Eric is no longer an ally, even though he refers to her as “it.”
