(SANTA MONICA, CA – FEBRUARY 8, 2013) – The power of FEARnet compels you! The network honors Linda Blair for her Achievements and Lifetime Humanitarian efforts, as it celebrates 40 years of The Exorcist, unleashing all five films of the groundbreaking franchise for a special “Complete Exorcist” Marathon on Sunday, February 17, starting at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.

William Friedkin’s Academy Award®-winning masterpiece has left millions of viewers speechless over the last four decades, and is widely considered to be at the top of list of the greatest horror films of all time. Fueled by the performance of its star, Oscar® nominee Linda Blair— whose unsettling portrayal of the possessed innocent Regan MacNeil sent shockwaves through the nation, terrifying moviegoers and captivating generations of horror fans and filmmakers—The Exorcist has had a lasting impact, not only on the genre but on the world.

Linda Blair went on to receive an Oscar® nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the film. Since then, she has enjoyed a successful career, both in and out of the genre, starring in a variety of films such as Exorcist II: The Heretic; the cult classic ‘80s Slasher Hell Night; the 1990 Exorcist spoof Repossessed, with Leslie Nielsen; and hosting the popular “Scariest Places On Earth” television series, as well as making appearances in Scream and “Supernatural.” Now, as a philanthropist and animal advocate, Blair works to improve animal welfare, and stop animal abuse and neglect through the non-profit Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation—an organization devoted to rescuing dogs and giving them “a second chance at a happy life and a loving forever home.”

In addition to participating in radio interviews and appearing on select news shows, Linda Blair will give her fans a unique opportunity to connect with their favorite star on twitter, sending their questions to @FEARnet, using #askregan. She will tweet to them directly on Wednesday, February 13 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET/2 p.m. to 3 p.m. PT. FEARnet is also organizing a special Twitter sweepstakes in conjunction with "The Complete Exorcist." For rules and information on prizing, visit fearnet.com/ExorcistSweepsRules.

A doubtful priest (Richard Burton) seeks to question Regan and uncover the truth behind the death of Father Merrin (von Sydow).
