Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Corri English, Laura Ortiz, Dee Snider and Dave Brockie Will Perform a Live Reading And Two Lucky Audience Members Will Be Chosen to Participate in the Scene

(SANTA MONICA, CA – MARCH 20, 2013) – The full cast of FEARnet’s original horror-comedy TV series HOLLISTON will be on-hand at the HorrorHound Weekend convention in Cincinnati, OH, to deliver a live script reading performance in front of over 800 fans on Saturday, March 23 at 5 p.m.  This event will be the only time on the Season Two publicity tour that the show’s entire cast—Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Corri English, Laura Ortiz, Dave Brockie (GWAR’s Oderus Urungus) and Dee Snider—will be on stage together.

The cast will be performing a special live script reading at their extended panel, and series creator and star, Adam Green, will be randomly picking two lucky fans from the audience to join the reading on stage in small “guest star” roles in this evening full of surprises. Additionally, there will be a designated autograph signing after the event.

HOLLISTON, FEARnet’s first original scripted television show, will begin its second season run on Tuesday, June 4 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, as part of FEARnet’s weekly “Twisted Comedy” block. The riotous and offbeat multi-camera comedy stars Adam Green and Joe Lynch, and is set in the town of Holliston, MA, following the lives of two friends chasing their dream of becoming successful horror movie filmmakers, struggling to make ends meet, and dealing with the opposite sex, while working their post-college jobs at a Boston area cable access station where they host a late night movie program called "The Movie Crypt." A groundbreaking take on the traditional American sitcom, the Austin Chronicle calls HOLLISTON the show you wished “’Big Bang Theory’ would be,” and Dread Central hails the series as “laugh out loud funny.”

HOLLISTON was created, written, and directed by Adam Green, best known as the creator of the worldwide franchise HATCHET and 2010’s Sundance film FROZEN. Green was raised in Holliston, Massachusetts and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Television and Film Production from Hofstra University in New York in 1997. While directing low-budget commercials for a local cable advertising company in the Boston area after college, Green made his feature film debut with the autobiographical comedy COFFEE & DONUTS, and founded the feature film and television production company ArieScope Pictures in 1998.  In 2000, Green made the move to Los Angeles where, over the next decade, he went on to write, direct, and produce the popular franchise HATCHET as well as such acclaimed genre films as SPIRAL, GRACE, FROZEN, CHILLERAMA and the internet sensation short film “Jack Chop.” Now, a bona fide leader in the horror genre, Green has become a celebrated independent filmmaker and personality. His upcoming film, HATCHET III—which he wrote and produced—hits theaters in May.

FEARnet is the official sponsor of the HorrorHound Weekend Cincinnati convention, supporting film screenings, the costume contest and the overall event. In addition, FEARnet representatives will be onsite doing special giveaways, answering questions about the network and signing fans up for FEARnet’s monthly newsletter.
