Tory Kittles (Jonte)

Tory Kittles was born and raised in Lawtey, Florida, a small town south of Jacksonville. A basketball player at Valencia Community College in Orlando, he transferred to Central Florida University to continue his studies. Without a scholarship, however, Kittles was forced to get a job to pay his tuition. He answered a local newspaper ad searching for extras and was hired on the Nickelodeon comedy show, "Kenan and Kel." It was then that Kittles caught the 'acting bug.' Kittles soon began seriously studying the craft of acting. Shortly after, he was introduced to casting director, Mali Finn, who invited him to read for director Joel Schumacher. Schumacher cast him on the spot for his film "TIGERLAND". In addition, Schumacher asked Kittles to write a song that was featured as the film?s theme song, "Looking for Charlie." Kittles then relocated to Los Angeles and delivered pizzas until the next acting job came along. Once again, Schumacher came through and cast Kittles in PHONE BOOTH, alongside Colin Farrell.
