For good or bad, these sequels took their franchises in a different, sometimes very strange direction… and we love them for it.
The Devil's Rejects
If you're a fan of Rob Zombie's 'Halloween,' then you are in for a treat. Mark your calendar for next Thursday, May 2nd. The film's star Tyler Mane (Michael Myers) is currently on a promotional tour for his new film 'Compound Fracture,' which he co-wrote and produced along side his wife Renae Geerlings and which also features Derek Mears ('Friday The 13th'), Muse Watson ('I Know What You Did Last Summer') and Leslie Easterbrook ('The Devil's Rejects').
Whether you like the films of Rob Zombie or not, you can't argue that he always makes for a fascinating interview. I tend to fall in the camp that loves The Devil's Rejects, Zombie's second feature length film as a writer/director, and although I have mixed feelings on the other titles in his filmography, I still find them all to be intriguing projects worth revisiting.
Whether you're a fan of Rob Zombie or not, it's hard to deny his distinct style as a filmmaker and the diversity of his filmography thus far.
