This week: vampires. Each contestant must select a stake from a coffin. On each stake is engraved the name of an international vampire-like creature. The contestants must create a vampire inspired by the legend they have chosen, and add in an “extreme functionality” that is atypical of vampires
Ryan is a bundle of emotions, staring at Claire. Once he accepts that she is there, alive and well, she gets down to what she is really there for: she wants to finish this by killing Joe.
Norma, nervous about councilman Berman’s death, goes to see Nick Ford and gently “breaks off” whatever sort of professional relationship the two had.
Meisner and Adalind reach the final stage of their epic trek across the European wilderness. They have arrived at a meeting spot in the forest, and Meisner goes to see if it is safe. It is not.
Jack goes to see Will, and tells him that Hannibal was nearly killed by the man who killed the bailiff and the judge. The only important part of that “story” is that the orderly didn’t kill the judge - that was the Ripper. And nothing Will said made that happen - it just happened.
The contestants each select a profession. They must create the robot that has taken their place in the industry. In addition, each creation must display a functional moving part. The contestants have four days for this challenge to allow for the extra time fabrication requires.
Joe is working with a group of his followers, to prepare them for killing. A woman, Angela, is brought up in front of the “class” and Joe instructs her to remember the serenity and freedom of the time she went snorkeling, and give that freedom to Carla, a woman tied and gagged on the table before her. She takes some encouraging, but Angela plunges the knife deep into Carla’s abdomen.
Norman wakes up in Cody’s car, no memory of his confrontation with Caleb. He swears he has never had a blackout before, and asks she not tell his mother.
Rick, Michonne, and Carl are still making their way towards Terminus. They come across an old car with a flat tire and decide to camp here for the night. Carl dozes in the car while Michonne and Rick keep watch by a fire outside. There is a snap from the woods and suddenly, they are set upon by a couple angry men with guns.
Freddie responds to an anonymous tip, sending her to the observatory. She enters with a gun, but soon exchanges it for a camera. She snaps away before calling the authorities. When Jack arrives, she suggests someone else enter - it’s one of his own. (Yes, we all know where this is going.)
