The Governor speaks to his new crew, trying to talk them into storming the prison. He says it is for survival, that if they stay there they will die, that the prison is safe, and that the people who currently occupy the prison are no good. “We can do it without firing a shot,” he tells them, “but we must be willing to kill if necessary.”
Mina has a “perplexing” dream about Grayson, in which he comes into her room and tries to tell her marrying Jonathan would be a mistake. Lucy wakes her as Mina and Grayson start having sex.
A gas station attendant is savagely beaten during an armed robbery. In the intensive care unit, his mother cries over her unconscious son, praying for the robbers to get their comeuppance. A few nights later, the same robbers hit another convenience store. This time, as they approach the getaway car, a beast is waiting for them, one that rips out the throat of both robbers, leaving behind two bloody corpses.
Jody Mills calls the boys up about four sudden disappearances in her otherwise quiet town in South Dakota. Witnesses reported seeing a bright blue flame at the time of the kidnappings. So the Winchesters roll into town and find that the only connection between the victims is that they were all members of the Good Faith Church.

It is day 14 of Jesse’s “treatments.” Wes gives him some blood via transfusion and he roars to life, breaking through his shackles (“physical strength is an unforeseen side effect”) and sucking the bag of blood dry. Then he turns on Wes.

A call from an old friend of Dean’s takes the Winchesters to upstate New York for a possible haunted house. The friend is Sonny, an ex-con who runs a farm for troubled boys. Unbeknownst to Sam, Dean spent two months here when he was 16.
