I come here once a week to see whats been added I haven't seen sadly its gotten very repetitive. This week bless you was something new and good Descent 2 yes I had seen it on cable few years ago but it fit the bill Sunday night after my Walking Dead night. What I don't understand is why there isn't more variety less repetition and more widescreen, unrated movies and why did it go from what was it 6 to 3 per week. I don't get Fearnet HD in my town we used to have it and it got pulled from TimeWarner.
Movies on FEARnet
Here’s your chance to chime in. Discuss all of the movies that are featured on FEARnet.
Why is there a small amout of movies and not alot of scary movies we can watch? There used to be at least 20 I think we could watch but now only 3. I' m just asking What happened to' em all?
Really? Mangler? Really? That was the best you could do? Oh, and what about the snooze-fest "Psych 9" I still haven't watched it to it's end because I get so damn bored. Yes, Friday the 13th, very cool, we get it, can't you dig into your archives for something more.... orphan. Long forgotten yet oh so chilling. There must be something frightening there. And "Warlock"? Really? Are we just catering to the vanilla horror fans or are we going to see some real films? And, no, they needn't be all blood and gore, its the story that counts but that the point I'm trying to make.
From start to finish, some directors do not waste a single minute of film. Sadly, this film did not have one of those directors. Instead waste 13 minutes or simply fast forward through your usual pedestrian fare of horny smart-ass college kids loading up the party wagon and heading out to the wilderness for the inevitable vodka and boobies orgy. Their trip will include the expected immature sex jokes, token character stereotypes, an argument, someone getting lost, a smoke lit up.... none of this really matters, not to us and, obviously, not to the cast and crew that made this film.
Spiral..... predictable schizo/horror come on, ever been in a psych ward? Madness does not give way to art or murder or blah blah blah what a predictable movie, it seemed like some college know-it-all wanted to make a statement about mental illness... what statement that is, I'm too bored to go on....
Fearnet's choice of movies is pretty lame. For my part, I love to watch the really good and the really bad, not mediocre generic stupid-bad, but certifiably bad. So bad you have to love it! Wake up call: this is FEARnet; horror, by definition, is extreme, so can't we see the truly great and the truly bad without all this boring slop in between? I mean come on, you're making a horror movie. Commit to it. Either try for excellence or accept disastrous, but put some effort into it. Horror is supposed to be extreme. Thats why its scary!
i would love to see the original, children of the corn. Anyone else?
Just browsing the forums and I haven't seen anything on Death Machine! Classic!!! Watching it again for the 5th time on FEARnet.
Brad Dourif... if you read this, marry me?
