Haunted Houses

I really don't believe in ghosts. I really don't. But I have lived in some places where some strange stuff has happened.

I dated this chic that hung herself in the shower. A few years later the house she died in came up for rent, and I moved in. Nothing really wierd happened there except water in the shower took almost a whole day to drain. Plumber after plumber was there and they could never find anything wrong. Meh. If that's what a ghost can do, then bring it. Reminds me of the smartass in Witchboard who said "I'm gonna come back and haunt you and pop your tires and stuff!"

What makes a horror film great?

I have seen quite a few people on here say that a horror film isn't a horror film unless it has a lot of gore and nudity. I would have to say that I disagree.

I am a huge fan of Hammer,Amicus and American International films. Some of them had a bit of gore and nudity, but nothing like compared to what is being made today. Does that make those films less scary that newer ones? I would say no. A lot of those films had strong screenplays and high production values which make them much more interesting for me to watch, than say a tits and gore movie that has a crap script.

Cannibal Holocaust

I haven't seen this movie mentioned in any top tens or recommendations but mine. Is there anyone here who has seen this movie. It is insane and was Blair witch before Blair witch and is utterly scary, disgusting and disturbing. A top 20 Horror movie of all time. If you haven't seen it, good luck finding an uncensored copy
