Who would you say is the best horror film director. you have people like Carpenter, Wes Craven, Tobe Hooper, William Friedkin, Sean S. Cunningham, and so on. But who would you say did the best directing job with there movies. I would say William Friedkin with The Exorcist. A truly disturbing movie.

If there is already a topic on this I couldn't find it. How many people here like Clive Barker's movies, books, games, etc. I love his books and Hellraiser is one of my favorite movies. He is one of the most imaginative pople in the horror industry right now. Even Stephen King called him the future of horror.
Will they be adding in anymore horror movies because 70 is just trailers.
I have comcast digital cable and I was told that there replaceing the sundance west channel for fearnet. Is this true
OK...now lets talk about "The Village" alot of people had mixed emotions about this movie. I think it was very well put together myself, but alot of people disagreed...Lets hear what you thought!!!!
It takes A LOT to scare me. Mostly I just laugh. Phantasm was the last movie that freaked me out, when I was a kid. That and Jacobs Ladder. Mental Mind F$.
It's not enough to just gross your audience out with entrails and blood. There are so many psychological thrillers out now, but sometimes they fall short.
Are the days of the slasher film gone??
I was just wondering what elements of this genre are needed to make the SCARIEST horror flick? One that would scare me. And I'm a hard scare.
