BEST ASIAN HORROR FILM
right now, i'd have to go with chan-wook park's vengeance trilogy. (lady vengeance, sympathy for mr. vengeance, & oldboy.)
Long black hair, creepy kids, and balls mysteriously bouncing down the stairs…you know the drill!
right now, i'd have to go with chan-wook park's vengeance trilogy. (lady vengeance, sympathy for mr. vengeance, & oldboy.)
in my opinion i can't pick one or the other because i think that takashi miike's work is usually unbelievably violent, where chan-wook park's work is very physological.
If you haven't seen this one you should.
All I gotta say is thats some %^ up *&^@ right there that is.....
I bought and finished watching Imprint from the Masters of Horror Showtime series. I was kinda surprised that it was Showtime refused to show the episode. The episode touched on several taboo subjects (like good horror should from time to time), but the violence was probably no worse than Dario's Jenifer episode. What are you thoughts on the episode? Why do you think they refused to show it?
Has any seen this movie yet? I've rented it over the weekend and thought it was really good.
I don't know. I just didn't get this movie. People are dying and their imprints are left behind. There is a scary website where people interact with the dead...yadda yadda. (Remember, this was done in 2001) The end took an interesting turn.
Anyone get creeped out by this?
For me it's the original (Ringu) although I have to admit I had not seen it until I saw The Ring and someone told me I had to check out the movie it was based on. He said it was better and I agree!
