CoffinCam - a horror novella podcast

One of my very best friends, Phil, is a writer. Some years ago, the two of us and our friend, Ray, a filmmaker, came up with an idea for a short film, but because none of us had the time or money, it was forgotten.

Years later, Phil made it into a novella; a few months ago, I recorded it (I'm a voice actor).

We've just released the first two parts and we think you might dig it.

You can check it out here:
CoffinCam by Phil Tucker, read by Paul Guyet

Thanks.

What was the first horror film you were exposed to?

people always ask me, "why do you like horror movies so much?" I respond by telling them that horror movies/Halloween time was celebrated a lot when I was a younger child. I'll never forget the first horror movie I saw as a kid. It was Halloween night, and i was probably 9 years old and I had just returned from trick or treating at my aunts house. When I walked in the movie "Halloween" was playing on the tv. The adults in the house didn't notice that I had returned from trick or treating. So I watched about 15 minutes of this film....I was so into it.

David Moody

Just wanted to recommend the "Autumn" series by David Moody. The Human Condition was just rereleased and is a great compendium to the series. Definitely the most original take on zombies that I have ever read. On a side note it is rather disheartening how dead this forum is compard to other ones. I'm a huge horror film buff myself, but there's a vast universe of great horror literature also.

Stixx by Remy Porter

My new UK-set horror novel, Stixx was recently published on both Amazon kindle and paperback. It also works as something of a murder-mystery, crime novel. Set in a small English village, two teenagers delve deep into the the case of the vampire killer while all around them the police and the press work themselves into a frenzy. But beneath the surface James Stixx and Faye Burns find a whole different story. Anyway, I hope you give it a look.
