sCare Foundation -- 2011 Halloween Launch Benefit
FEARnet's Angie Greenup attends the 1st Annual sCare Foundation Halloween Launch Benefit, and speaks with Humanitarian of the Year Award recipient Jamie Lee Curtis, and such horror celebrities as Malcolm McDowell, Derek Mears, Jon Mack, Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Ellen Sandweiss, Robert Hall, and Foundation founder Malek Akkad.
The sCare Foundation is a non-profit group aiming at alleviating the hardships of poverty and homelessness facing North American youth. Teaming up with national youth-focused non-profit organizations, the sCare Foundation will be giving financial support to existing programs and arranging special activities for children, such as set visits, movie screenings, and celebrity meet-and-greets. In addition, sCare's aim is to involve more young people in philanthropy and foster their creative exploration with video production, product design, and more.
