A lot of times I end up with that confused feeling at the end of an Asian horror flick. I thought the doc was just delusional as well until the psychiatrist started seeing green. So maybe the infection was the hallucination??

Hey, that makes as bout as much sense as anything I've thought of, so I'm going to go with this.
What I gathered from this movie was that the doctor was insane, and was imagining this infection as he killed his co-workers.
In the end it seemed that the guy was real cause he oozed out of the locker and stuff, but maybe he was a spirit instead of a medical patient and came in with the guy in the ambulance.
Wow.
I'm confusing myself. XD
But yeah, crazy doctor, killing people. But in his head it's an infection.
I think the infection came from the cover up they came up with when they killed the guy. It was the guy's ghost that was killing them. At the end, the psychiatrist lied about not knowing about the kid with the head phones so, the infection started again--its like The Grudge.
