Going through old video tapes and found THE CHRONICLE and LEXX. I had completely forgotten about THE CHRONICLE which COULD HAVE been something special if better written and a bigger budget. So I tried to remember some other forgotten t.v. shows.

thats all i got and idk if they are really forgoten...
the fact that mr karloff hosted....and the first sequence "do not try and adjust ur tv set we controll the vertical and horizontal...thats all i remember right now but everytime i hear it it brings me back to being 6

I used to tape lots of television shows, before the era of DVD. I have a ton of episodes of "The Twilight Zone" and "The X-Files". Do these qualify as forgotten exactly? They were popular and are well known. Yet some of the shows you mentioned only lasted a season or two so they could definately queality. I caught "Brimstone: when they showed it on Sci-fi channel and I liked it, but it was only on for one season. I watched "Byrds of Prey", sort of a guilty pleasure show. Who has forgotten "Firefly" it was great and unjustly cancelled. I never watched "Millennium" when it first aired, and I'm currently watching it now on DVD, still on the first season. I like it. Some other great shows I miss from the past.
"Wonderfalls", very funny show about inanimate objects in the form of animals make a lazy, over-achiever help total strangers. Great show that was just too weird to last.
"The LoneGunmen" The X-Files" spin-off that was just funny and weird and definately should have lasted longer.
"Meadowlands" This was a british show that aired in the U.S. on Showtime for one season. A great show about a family who were part of the witness protection program and sent to live in a small community where everyone else was in the witness protection program and everyone had secrets. A lot better then that description implies. I know that might sound a little soapy, like "Desperate Housewives" or something but its much better, sadly I don't think its ever been released on DVD.
Oh here's a great show "Kolchalk The Night Stalker", this was the show that was the inspiration for "The X-Files". Really good show that only lasted one season sadly.

I think THE LONE GUNMEN died of neglect by the very people who started it. There was no reason for it NOT to succeed. Poor nerds bought it courageously at the end.
KOLCHAK THE NIGHT STALKER with Darren McGavin was great with the typical but still great editor always yelling at him played by Simon Oakland. Actually, I even liked the short lived REMAKE of the series with Gabriel Union.
I LOVED BRIMSTONE and was smokin' mad when it was cancelled. EXCELLENT show.
