another thing to remember if you are just getting into Asian cinema is that like American horror it is divided into many diffrent sub genres so you will still have to find the styles you like ...... alot of people who dont know a great deal just think its all ghost storys with young girls with long black hair when infact "yurei" ghost storys make a small precentage yurei is from Japanese folklaw and its most famous film ghost would be Sadako from the original ring
i will give you the heads up aswell that some Asian cinema can be very slow moving & quite demanding with the film only really paying off or making sense toward the end of the film & alot can be quite ambiguous THEN on the other side of the spectrum there is the chambra type splatter films like machine girl that are completly over the top & wacky i have one film in my collection called "a teenage hooker became a killing machine" lol!

About half of those movies are on Netflix

hmm i dont really stream so someone else might have to help you there, there is this site though: http://www.asian-horror-movies.com/ but i tend to just download using torrents & the films i listed are just a few listed out of my DVD collection

it depends on your tyle of movies. i love the over the top asian films like RoboGeisha, Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police. and ANY asian zombie movie like Tokyo Zombie, Attack Girls Swim Team VS the Undead. there are tons of them that i cant think of at the moment.
