You are right it was hilarious. I almost cried when Adam was telling Tony Todd off...especially when he gave Corri the ice cream. Just as I was about to lose it was when she started choking. lol. It was a great episode though.

I expected Adam and Corri to get back together at that point.  I started another thread about that aspect of the show, but it is killing me that she isn't with him and is dating losers like the doctor guy.  I get that it's just a show and as funny as the doctor guy is- it just tears me up and I have a hard time watching Adam hurt over her.  Especially the ice cream speech and when he gave her the ice cream, inside I was kind of a mess.  I've watched each one a bunch now, and Adam's speech in the first epiosde (the hooker one) about just wanting to buy Corri ice cream and then when he spills his guts to her outside of the bar it gets me every time.  Maybe just hits too close to home because it seems people never realize that the right person is standing right in front of them the whole time.  If Adam and Corri don't get together soon (and stay together, please) I don't know how much more I can take.  I believe the show can still be just as funny and that there's enough other stuff with the career stuff without the writers needing to keep Corri and Adam apart.  I know the season fnale has Adam and Joe giving their movie trailer to John Landis (IMDB has the plot outline up) and if he's mean to them about it I'm gonna throw my remote at my TV cause I hate watching them lose.  I can't imagine the outcome is gonna be good but maybe because it's the end of the season, something will go right for them.  Again, maybe just too close to home for me. One things for sure, I never expected to be so emotionally sucked into a stupid sitcom.  As weird and funy as this show is, every now and then there's something that's just so fucking sweet that I get all worked up.  I want to watch this show to escape how much my life sucks, not be reminded that I'm alone and heart broken.  If this show is truly based on Adam's real life like I keep reading about then I wonder what aspect of Corri is real.  Is Corri English the real Corri?  If not, who is she and what is she doing now?  Has she seen this show?  Wish they'd put more info out about that.

Right down to his crappy cell phone, Tony Todd was just great. What an awesome sport to do that show the way he portrayed himself. Kudos to him.

Shakma  I totally agree with you.  I thought that when (SPOILER) Adam stood up to Candyman and said that line "Corri is worh all of the ice cream in the world" and then she heard him defend her that there was gonna be like a huge kiss between them and that it was gonna be it and they were gonna get back together.  Seemed like the perfect moment for Adam and Corri to get back together and I was surpised as hell that it didn't happen.  But then I laughed my ass off when Adam mistakenly poisoned her with the strawberries as I never saw that coming!  LOL!  The cheesy sitcom ending music they used there was priceless, too.  "friends and fun have just begun in Holliston!"  ROTFLMAO!!! Reminded me of the ending to a 70's sitcom!  i love that about this show, when they have the audience laugh at stuff that they shouldn't laugh at or have happy music over something totally messed up.  I was like WTF????  LOL!

I disagree with you though that they need to get back together "or else" though. Their relationship is classic Ross and Rachel, Dawson and Joey, Sam and Diane, Pam and Jim type stuff and it's a core set-up for this series.  The very fact that it is getting to you (and I hear you cause it gets to me too and I think about it a lot and root for them to get back together) means that the writers are doing a good job.  (Actually, sorry- writer.  Adam Green writes and directs all of the episodes.)  If Adam and Corri got back together this early on then that would be a mistake, although the way they break rules on this show I wouldn't be shocked if they did get back together soon.  I get the feeling that they'll get together eventually anyway.  I mean they sort of have to.  But that's what this show is about.  the time of your life when things don't work out. Usually on TV shows when the main characters get together it's sort of the end of the show.  I haven't cared about Pam and Jim on The Offce since they got back together.  Though I admittedly don't really care about that show anyway.

This whole show is so weird to me because I never would have even known about it had I not been dragged to the screening they did in Holliston, Mass and now I'm boarderline obsessed with it.  I seriously love this show so much and I'm kind of freaking out that there's only two episodes left this season.  Whoever decided to only do six episodes should be shot.  I hope they get more episodes out fast.  The news release on this site says there won't be more episodes until summer of 2013.  That's insane if that's true.  Also, I met all four of the main cast members in Holliston at the screening and they couldn't have been nicer.  The weird part is that they're all exactly like they are on the show.  It's crazy but I wish I was friends with them in real life.  I want to walk into that apartment and watch movies with Adam and Joe and look at laura's paintngs and try and talk sense into Corri so that she'll just be with Adam already.  Maybe it's only because I met them in person, but I've never enjoyed a cast this much or wanted to live in the world of a show I watch.  And I live in the real town of Holliston!!  But I don't have friends like this show, sadly.  I wish I did. i wish I could live in the show.   I'm so happy that tomorrow is Tuesday night and that means a new episode but I can already tell you I'm going to be majorly bummed out after nex week's season closer.  No matter what happens in it, I'm gonna be let down that I have to wait so long for more episodes.  To the Fearnet people or the cast if they read this, please come back to Holliston again when you premiere the next season!  That was so awesome!  We would all love to have you back again.

and you are right. They all are totally sweet and down to earth. That was actually the second time I met Adam and he is so freakin gracious and sweet. He is one guy who really appreciates his fans. Joe is hilarious in person too and made me laugh the whole time I was talking to him. I had a blast that night and it was one I will def. always remember. Adam already started writing Season 2 so hopefully it'll be here sooner than a year from now. Usually when he gets ideas they seem to just pour out and he can't stop so we'll see. I hope so cuz the show is pretty amazing. As for him and Cori getting back together I was kind of shocked at the whole ice cream thing not sealing the deal also but as you guys said it would be too soon. Though in episode 5 when he hands her the robe and wraps it around her and said, "You dropped this" I almost cried AGAIN. Adam told me that if this episode tugs at your heart, wait until the season finallie. So I think somethings going to happen between them. and Yes I will be watching with tissues
