I feel shitty

up
23

I despertly wanna be a published author, technically I am, but I can do better then Amazon self publishing, and people trying to take advantage of my desperation to get all the mony from me, and promises that never get fufilled. But I'm back to square one. And probobly publishing companys won't sign you unless you are finished with at leaste one. I'm still working on a novel, the contract I signed was a fraude, my cousen, who just became a loyer (spelling, don't have spell and grammer check I always use) and got me out of the contract. You have no idea how depressed and shitty I feel right now. I will finish it, then I was told to send it into agents by my college professors, they can find a legite publishing company's, but it'll be hard sihgning with an agency. But I'll finish my novel first, my heart surgury threw mw back, and I'm only on page 93 when I should be finished. For a novel it has to be at least 120 pages, but I plan to make it longer. And hopefully will become a published author. I'm not prying for a lot of money because most published authors really don't make that much money, just want to be signed onto a legite publishing company.

the fact you are writing because you love to write is what you should see as the most important thing & the fact you are being pro active. I dont think many people who write even have a end goal like you so at least you have a target/ambition to reach & that is defo key .......... all you have done so far despite the fact you are dissapointed is still progress

I have a friend who has created a sucesful buisness in trading film memorebilia in a world where achiving that is very difficult & unlikely my point being that things are very possible fearnets grindhouse guru is a great example of how things can work out

so keep your chin up mate

I know how it feels to have a dream, (something you feel you were born to do) and how the odds always seem stacked against you. Just keep working at it, you can't get what you want in life, if you don't try your fucking hardest!
