Found this title on a "Scariest Monsters" list.

WETA did do a fantastic job on the CGI. Otherwise... meh on the overall story.

Cultural gaps are one thing. The bizarre plot course in this was something different.

idk i kinda liked this one....kinda on the cooky comedic side...i also read it was getting remade...they are gonna have to change alot in order to appeal to a wider market for this one...

I gotta say. . . . I thought this flick was SO boring, poorly done and overrated. The REGULAR, so called edjumacated, everyday newspaper critics thought this movie was the GREATEST. I thought it was pure crap. To each his own, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They ARE making a sequel.

Well i thought it was ok BUT shit the bed! i spent £10 buying it because of the hype & comparisons to jurassic park! WTF .................... No its nothing like JP & should have only been given a shout out as a good b-movie ..................... for me its fun but the hype is insane
