This movie would have been good without the constant flashbacks to the same things but then it would have been only about half an hour long. Too bad, the subject was interesting.

I guess I understand why someone would be like, why haven't there been any movies about kids during the zombie apocalypse? Why don't I do this?!! I can see how that would have sounded like a master plan to someone, maybe. I watched it. It wasn't bad... but it's exactly what I'd expect of a movie whose weight is placed primarily on the shoulders of one small actress who still hasn't even had her first period yet. The whole film is shot through a lense similar to Instagram's "Nashville" filter. I get it, the sky is polluted. But sometimes it's overkill. The flashbacks are poorly placed :/ The plot could have been developed more successfully with a lot less effort... but oh well. If you don't like kids, probably don't watch this... Reasons to watch this: - lol @ the Bon Jovi, Led Zep, and Pearl Jam graffiti at 35:14. - that was the only reason.

This movie had potential child's view of the zombie apocalypse. The flashbacks absolutely stunk showing the same one over and over was over kill. However, the movie did help me waste an hour.
