Soon enough. Working towards my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Texas-Austin. To pay the bills and for the love of it, I am also an Internet Marketing Strategist providing internet marketing, reputation management and design services to horror and alt culture professionals via <a title="Rough Ride Creations" href="

A certain design aesthetic took hold in the late 90s for horror design and has become an industry standard. I still see full Flash sites with splashpages, animated gifs, tables, frames, and color schemes and design themes that never left 1997 being used for modern horror, dark art and sci-fi designs. And, while some newer designs are artistically masterful, when it comes to usability, accessibility or the search engines, these sites are all looks, and no substance.

So, after years of working in the mainstream, I decided to offer the awesome things that I did for small businesses, e-commerce, nonprofit, industrial and commercial clients to dark artists, writers, models, tattoo/body mod studios, small to midsize businesses and other professionals working in speculative fiction, dark art, and horror entertainment. People who deserve not only a website that is designed with imagination and style, but that is also an integral part of an entire marketing machine. Rough Ride Creations: Gore without borders!
