in my oppion yes,it is very enaging and disturbing ,the tomie series got me into asian horror and since then i prefer asian horror over american it's more story driven and not full of cheap jump scares.

I'm gonna check out the Tomie movies soon, I just got started on the manga. Can u (or anyone else) recommend some other Asian Horror? Just start listing off the best ones you've seen. Also, do u know of any good Chinese horror movies? I'm just starting to get into Asian Horror myself...

So are you saying that the whole series is good? Most opinions I got in my own thread on the subject just said the first one was the only one I needed to see. How do they stack up to the manga?

they are all perfect films bestbuy has the entire set for 25 bucks so i suggest buying it the manga is amazing

I started to read the manga but got pretty bored. I should chek out the movies. Is she just a weird ghost or what? Not too interesting..

this is the worst series of asian horror i have ever seen. not just one, but every single one of them. there were def creepy moments, but never went anywhere to keep the story interesting. the comics are good,movies, not so much. i posted a review on my myspace page a while ago. if anyone cares to view it, you know the name...
