Yes the Creature was misunderstood and I loved those films even the sequels. Felt really bad for him at the end of the Creature walks among us. He is also the coolest visual monster of that time IMHO.

Truely one of my all time faves, even as a kid i felt a bit sorry for the creature.
I can only hope they do this classic justice in the remake.
I will be looking forward to it.
