......... I'll splatter cherry pie all over the god damn wall myself
quote: Note: Ministry hasn't made a decent album since 1988.
Fortunately, there are many more, better bands. As a replacement for Ministry, I would recommend early 16 Volt. It's a vast improvement.
maybe in your opinion....but I believe every single album put out by Ministry (except for Animositisomina) is incredible....A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste is by far my favorite album by Ministry and it was released after 1988 and it's one of the greatest albums of all time....so yeah, that statement is a load of shit!
I'm not a huge fan of NIN but I liked some of their older stuff...but when they came out with their new one "With Teeth" I was completely disappointed, I thought it was horrible and their worst one. Kind of hoping that they stop with the new and just let us enjoy the old.
I can't say that I was ever a hardcore fan of them, but I went to see them with the intention of getting laid by the chic I brought with me. I didn't work out. I guess I shouldn't blame it on the band, but I never really liked them after that....

It didn't work out. I did work out for a while, but the situation didn't...
Ok, I have to admit it. NIN is a VERY guilty pleasure.
Most of PHM sounded like a music project between Skinny Puppy and Depeche Mode (which in 1989 was a pretty hawt combo to a freshman in high school)
Now mind you I LOVE Skinny Puppy way more than nin, but T-Rez will probably always have a special teen angst place in my heart.
(plus the remix eps were AMAZING. Coil? Aphex Twin? Meat Beat Manifesto?!! It was a who's who of some of the greats of the 90's Electronic/ Industrial scene.)
I saw Meat Beat Manifesto tour with NIN back in 1990. It was a great tour because Meat Beat played tracks from "99" and NIN was all "Pretty Hate Machine!"
And WTF No... Nine Inch Nails
Word!
