With their new release, "Artificial Soldier," FLA combines heavy bass lines, intricate synth programming, and break beats.
This is possibly their best effort to date, and features guest vocals from JL DeMeyer (Front 242).
I caught the Philadelphia show, which rocked, but was marked with controversy, as the band was stranded due to a tour bus contract dispute. This mix-up did not prevent Bill Leeb and the boys from rocking the Trocadero!
If you are a fan of such FLA albums as "Tactical Neural Implant," "Hardwired," or "Implode," then "Artificial Soldier" is for you!

I'm interested in checking this out. I've always dug what FLA have done, though my favorite album of theirs is "Millenium", which relied heavily on samples from groups like Sepultura and Pantera.

"Millenium" was a great album! It was more of an experiment for Bill Leeb, with the addition of the guitar riffs.
My favorite track from that album was "Vigilante," which had samples from the movie "Falling Down." (A cult classic)

I never liked FLA. Found them to be blandly repetitive and the vocals always grated on my nerves.
Though I'm glad someone's representing with the industrial.
