After seeing Evil Dead listed in the "Best Zombie Movie" thread I though there should be a "Best Demon Movie" thread. As Evil Dead is a demon movie not zombie. Heres a list of my favorites in order:

The Lamberto Bava dario argento demon films were the best demon movies ever made. The exorcist still is top notch though it's the only movie to this day that scares the fucking dogshit out of me.

I'm going to have to go with the Bava/Argento crowd on this one, even though I think their Gialo's are much better...with the exception of course of Argento's Suspiria and Inferno.

1. The Exorcism of Emily Rose scared the sh out of me! I saw it in theatres with my sister and was tense throughout the entire thing. I think partially to do with the fact that Emily had epilepsy and so do I.
2. The Exorcist (The first time I saw this was when I was a kid and decided to test by nerve by watching it in the dark - big mistake. I have no tolerance for demonic possesion movies and exorcisms since. They still freak me out).
3. BlackValley Water Exorcism - Despite being low budget, it was pretty decent. They really had a twist at the end.
Maybe someday, they will make a film on the original story that was the basis for the film The Exorcist.

haha, i actually remember that one, that scene when the Latina girl, whos the lead actresses friend, pretty much humps him into oblivion to get him to change to save his"GF" is still one of the best early teenage boy dreams!!
