Ray Harryhausen’s work is known to anyone who is a fan of monster movies. He created the stop animation for fantasy classics like Jason and the Argonauts, It Came from Beneath the Sea and Earth Vs the Flying Saucers. His amazing tiny army of sword-wielding skeletons influenced a number of animators today.

If there’s a young actress out there who may be able to fill Sissy Spacek’s crazy-ass shoes in Carrie, it’s Chloe Moretz. The 15-year-old has already played a psychotic child superhero and a deadly tween vampire and anyone who has seen her in these roles knows she is great talent.
