Like most horror fans, I'm not always pro remake. There are some films that simply should not be remade. However, I am supportive of remaking a film if the creative team behind the reboot can bring something new to the table or improve upon what the original film did, in some way.

Many horror films rely on a twist ending to sell the film and surprise viewing audiences. Sometimes twist endings work and sometimes they fall flat. Either way, twist endings are a staple of slaughter cinema.

With guys like Fred Krueger and Jason Voorhees dominating the cinematic slaughter scene, it’s easy for horror fans to forget about the little people. But, we at FEARnet embrace the little people and think that they deserve their moment in the spotlight just as much as the big guns.
