Winona Ryder to Swim with 'Black Swan'
Winona Ryder will soon be starring in Darren Aronofsky's supernatural thriller, Black Swan. Ryder will play a dancer in the film -- which is set in the world of the New York City Ballet -- alongside co-stars Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, who will also play dancers. This means that the movie will feature women I've lusted after in three distinct periods of my life. Hit the jump for more details.
This story originated as a SlashFilm.com exclusive and was later picked up by the Hollywood Reporter who tells us, "Swan centers on a young dancer at the New York City Ballet (Portman) who may or may not be having delusions about a rival dancer (Kunis). The project, which began life at Universal before being reconceived as an indie, has drawn comparisons to The Others and other high-end supernatural thrillers."
Ryder will apparenly play an older dancer in the film. Fox Searchlight is in negotiations on an agreement to co-finance and distribute.
