The upstate New York house made famous in the The Amityville Horror went up for sale yesterday. To find out more about what could be a horrror fan's dream home, hit the jump now.

Check out the house's Realtor.com listing here. It's kind of a steal at only 1.15 million for a five-bedroom Dutch Colonial. The 1979 film is based on the story of the Lutz family, who lived in the house in 1975 after the DeFeo family was killed there in their sleep by the DeFeos' eldest son.
