This time last year, gothic instrumental artists Nox Arcana – a perennial favorite among Halloween spookhouse/event exhibitors – joined forces with Jeff Hartz of horror prop-shop Buzz-Works to release the epic undead-themed CD Zombie Influx. Apparently that project was successful enough to warrant a new creative team-up just in time for Halloween 2010: House of Nightmares is about to be released, and we've got more details and a preview clip on the other side... come on in and find out more!
The creepy creation of artist Joseph Vargo, Nox Arcana worked with Hartz to produce the 19-track epic House of Nightmares, mixing atmospheric music and immersive sound effects to create a nightmarish sonic scenario set in an abandoned mansion built near an old cemetery, where “dark things dwell... lying in wait for anyone who dares to enter” and “sinister incantations unleash ancient horrors to haunt the realm of the living.”
House of Nightmares will be available on October 1st, and you can preview select tracks at the Nox Arcana website. Before you go, check out this preview clip featuring their new track The Forgotten Crypt...
