Australian cinematographer Christopher Doyle takes his first leap into 3D... with a J-horror project called Rabbit Horror. Hit the jump and we'll tell you more.
The film is called Rabbit Horror (catchy), and follows a boy whose family is falling apart. He turns to his scary stuffed rabbit for solace, but the rabbit comes to life and forms a "dangerous" relationship with him.
Doyle holds over 50 features to his credit, including Lady in the Water, The Quiet American, Rabbit-Proof Fence, Made, Gus Van Sant's Psycho remake, and several segments of the J-horror franchise Three Extremes. Rabbit Horror, currently in post-production, is directed by Takashi Shimizu (who did multiple entries into both the Japanese and American Grudge franchises) and stars Teruyuki Kagawa (The Haunted Samurai) and Hikari Mitsushima (Death Note).
