Sick of over photoshopped, no style, and floating head movie posters folks like Mondo and Gallery 1988 are bringing the art back to movie marketing. Original poster artists from the 70's/80's like Drew Struzan (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Big Trouble in Little China) are even making a comeback with some amazing new poster work. On the hunt for even more original poster art I happened upon these amazing original Thai movie posters. Featuring unbelievable hand painted artwork for classic horror titles like The Evil Dead, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, They Live, The Return of the Living Dead and so much more. It was hard to choose, but I managed to pick out 15 of my favorites which are presented below; I'll let the artwork speak for itself. Note that many of these are available on eBay at reasonable prices starting at about 20 bucks going as high as a few hundred.
