The Binding of Isaac, with its randomly generated dungeons and laundry list of upgrades and power ups to buff its titular hero, doesn't seem like a game that would really use, or even need, an expansion pack. However, it seems that Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl disagree with that sentiment, having announced an expansion pack for the already expansive game, titled "Wrath of the Lamb." Check out the full story, courtesy of G4, after the break.
McMillen confirmed the existence of "Wrath" in both his Twitter account and in a reply on Formspring, where he promises that the expansion pack will boast "at least 50% more" content, as well as a quintet of new tracks by the game's composer, Danny Baranowsky.
"Wrath of the Lamb" will apparently be released in the next 2-4 months, and that if the 3DS port that was mentioned earlier comes to light, it will include all of the extra goodies that "Wrath" brings to Isaac. However, there are literally no plans to expand Isaac after the release of "Wrath," with McMillen explaining that he will have "nothing else" to add to the game.
