Spooky LA goth-glam rockers Black Veil Brides have rolled out a new video for Perfect Weapon, the latest single from their debut album We Stitch These Wounds. The video follows the huge success of their first single & video Knives and Pens, and continues the flamboyant, theatrical stylings of the vampish antiheroes. Turn the page and check out the video, and be sure to get a good look at that truly awesome Ouija board guitar...
The stylish Perfect Weapon video was directed by Patrick Fogarty, who also directed the earlier Knives and Pens (which racked up nearly ten million hits on YouTube as of this writing). The song itself, which showcases the band's blend of moody HIM-style romanticism and thrashy turbo-riffage, rocketed up to the Top 50 spot on iTunes in its first day. The band also invited their extremely devoted fans (known as “The Bridesmaids”) to do their own interpretations of the song, and have posted many of those covers – both lyrical and instrumental – on their well-trafficked MySpace.
We Stitch These Wounds is slated for release on July 20th, but the band will begin promoting the new songs on the road a few weeks ahead of that date when they join Vampires Everywhere!, Modern Day Escape and Get Scared on the Hot Topic “Sacred Ceremony” tour on July 2nd.
