Horror fans have been banking on the release of Paramount's Case 39 for quite some time now, but the second day of the new year brings with it some bad news. Paramount has apparantly taken the flick off of their '09 schedule (we were hoping to see it in April '09) thus indefinitely delaying a theatrical release. Whether the film will pop up on DVD first (or at all) remains to be seen, but rest assured we'll fill you in on the skinny as soon as more news is available. The latest genre flick to join the ranks of 'a film you may never get to see' centers on 'an idealistic social worker (Renee Zellweger) who saves an abused 10-year-old girl from her parents only to discover that the girl is not as innocent as she thinks'. What do you guys think? Is it a big deal that this flick goes missing or was this one that you wanted to check out?
