The second half of the Comic Con 2011 schedule is finally out. Read on for all the horrific goodies available on Saturday and Sunday. Bookmark both of these lists so you can make sure the only scares won't come from that greasy guy who only leaves his mom's basement once a year.
Saturday, July 23rd
10:00-11:00am: Immortality - leading authors join together to discuss the notion of immortality, with focus on supernatural, sci-fi, and fantasy novels. Among the panelists: David Goyer, Michael Cassut, Jason Starr, Michael Carroll, Rachel Caine, and more. Room 7AB.
12:45-1:45pm: DC: The Dark and The Edge - DC Universe editor Pat McCallum takes to the stage to discuss upcoming, darker series from the famed comic imprint. Room 6DE
1:45-2:45pm: Vampires and Others - Fangbangers rejoice! This panel offers relationship advice for those who are dating vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and "other." Patricia Briggs, Nancy Holder, and Cla and Susan Griffith are among the panelists. Room 6A
2:00-3:00pm: Spotlight on Garth Ennis - The comic book legend is at the con to premiere his directorial debut, Crossed, and upcoming comic books. Room 6DE
2:30-3:30pm: TV Guide Presents Super Supernaturals - Can't get enough of boob tube spooks? Then this panel is for you. John Barrowman from Torchwood, Kristin Bauer from True Blood, Theo James from Bedlam, Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf, Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt from Grimm, and Phoebie Tonkin, Britt Robertson, and Thoms Dekker from The Secret Circle will all be on stage to discuss their super supernaturals. 3:00-4:00pm: Writing for Genre Television and Beyond - You love the shows; now find out what it takes to write for your favorite genre series. The panel includes writers from Femme Fatales, Lost, Fringe, Firefly, Eureka, Alphas, and many more. Room 23ABC
3:30-4:15pm: The Vampire Diaries - One of my favorite shows, this panel gathers stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Candice Accola, and Joseph Morgan with writers/executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec to screen a season two highlights reel and answer fan questions.
6:00-7:00pm: Behind the Music - Composers from film and TV favorites like True Blood, Buffy, Super 8, and Warehouse 13 talk about those spooky music cues. Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
Sunday, July 24th
11:15am-12:15pm: Supernatural - Fan favorite Supernatural makes their Hall H debut with a sneak peek at footage from both the live action and anime series. Stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles will be there to answer your questions. More panelist to be announced. Hall H.
2:00-3:00pm: Max Brooks, Zombie Survival 101 - Zombie guru Max Brooks talks about his books and answers your questions about zombies and the zombie apocalypse. Room 7AB.
4:00-5:00pm: Buffy: The Musical - Close out Comic Con in style with a screening of the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Once More With Feeling." Fan participation is highly encouraged. Hall H.
