It was announced today that Dexter star Michael C. Hall is in treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. Currently, the cancer – which is considered “highly treatable” – is in full remission, and Hall will attend the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards this month. Filming season five of Dexter will begin later this year as scheduled.
In a statement posted on Yahoo!, Hall said: "I feel fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable condition, and I thank my doctors and nurses for their expertise and care."
We are glad to hear Hall is doing so well, and selfishly, I am relieved to hear season five of Dexter is going forward.
