I wonder how many times I can use that silly title. Anyway, last night’s Golden Globe Awards were something of a trainwreck, with presenters who could barely string together a sentence and a host who was virtually removed mid-show for giving an opening monologue about masturbation.
The bright spots were two wins for Dexter. This being their best season yet, it was no surprise that Michael C. Hall (looking healthy despite the chemo beret) took home best actor in a TV drama, while John Lithgow won best supporting actor for his role as family man/serial killer Trinity. And on the kinda-sorta genre tip, James Cameron won best director for Avatar – which also won for best drama.
