The biggest genre film festival in the US is heading out on a three-weekend tour this month, as eight of the films screened this year's Fantastic Fest are hitting the road to play at Alamo Drafthouse locations across the country.
Fantastic Fest joins forces with Drafthouse Films, Magnet Releasing and Well Go USA for the tour, providing fans who missed September's fest in Austin with the chance to catch some of the most memorable entries well ahead of their official release dates.
Why Don't You Play in Hell
“We wanted to bring the excitement of Fantastic Fest to other cities around the country,” says fest founder Tim League. “Genre film fans will get a sneak peek at this year’s hands-down craziest and wickedly enjoyable movies.”
The tour will include Alamo locations in Austin, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, New York, San Antonio, and Virginia, and will be screening this year's acclaimed FF entries Big Bad Wolves, Borgman, Cheap Thrills, Confession of Murder, The Congress, Grand Piano, Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons, and Why Don't You Play in Hell.
